Fine mesh sieve
You can do one or both of these steps, or use whatever rice cleaning method you've traditionally done. The more thoroghly you clean, the more you'll reduce heavy metals, such as arsenic.
In the sieve, thoroughly rinse rice under cold water for about 2 minutes then drain.
Soak rice in a bowl (or your pressure cooker pot), with a few changes of water, up to 24 hours prior to cooking.
Add prepared rice and fresh water to the pressure cooker.
1 ¼ cup of water for every 1 cup of rice.
Cook on high pressure for 29 minutes.
Let sit for 10 minutes.
Release the pressure, fluff with wood utensil, then serve.
Example
My 6 quart Instant Pot open_in_new holds 5 cups of wild rice (4 bags of Lundberg wild rice open_in_new), for which I use 6 ¼ cups of water.
